How to add/remove Liquidity

In this example, we will add V2 liquidity using IP and BWX.

🔹 How to Add Liquidity

1️⃣ Visit the Liquidity Page – Navigate to the BlueWhaleX Liquidity Interface.

2️⃣ Click the “Add Liquidity” Button.

3️⃣ Select the Trading Pair – Choose the two tokens in the trading pair you want to add liquidity to.

• Here, we are using IP and BWX as an example.

4️⃣ Default Liquidity Selection

• The interface defaults to adding V3 liquidity, unless:

  • The trading pair has an active V2 liquidity pool, in which case, an "Add V2 Liquidity" link will appear.

  • Click this link to switch to V2 liquidity provision.

• Confirm that you are adding V2 liquidity by checking the display: "V2 LP - 0.25% fee tier".

5️⃣ Enter Deposit Amounts

• Input the amount for one of the tokens under "Deposit Amount".

• The other token amount will be automatically calculated.

• If you don’t have enough balance, an error message will appear, and the button will be disabled.

• Click “MAX” to use the maximum available balance.

6️⃣ Enable BWX Token

• Click the “Enable BWX” button.

• If you are adding liquidity with a token other than IP, you may need to approve both tokens separately.

• Your wallet will prompt you to confirm.

7️⃣ Add Liquidity

• Once enabled, the “Add” button will light up. Click it to proceed.

• Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

8️⃣ Done!

• Once confirmed, your LP Token balance will appear on the liquidity page.

• You will also see your active liquidity positions across V3 and StableSwap pools.

🔹 How to Remove Liquidity

1️⃣ Go to the Liquidity Page.

2️⃣ Select the Liquidity Pair

• Under "Your Liquidity", find the trading pair you want to remove liquidity from.

• Use the filter option to quickly locate V2 liquidity positions.

3️⃣ Click “Remove” – A modal will appear.

4️⃣ Choose the Amount to Remove

• Use the slider or buttons to select how much liquidity you want to remove.

• Click “MAX” to remove all liquidity from this pair.

5️⃣ Enable Token Unlock

• Click the “Enable” button and confirm in your wallet.

6️⃣ Click “Remove” – The button will light up when ready.

7️⃣ Confirm Swap Details

• A summary will show how many tokens you will receive.

• Click “Confirm” and approve in your wallet.

8️⃣ Transaction Complete

• You will receive IP and BWX tokens from your liquidity position.

• If you only removed a portion, the remaining liquidity balance will be updated on the liquidity page.
